Barbeques come in many shapes and sizes. From built in permanent fixtures, to trolley barbeques, which can be wheeled in and out as required.

 

Often it is not possible to store all of your garden and patio furniture indoors during the off season.

 

If at all possible expensive items such as barbeques should be taken indoors to protect them from the ravages of the British weather. With our rainfall levels, and humidity, it is not a suitable climate for outdoor furniture.

 

However when we make the effort to look to the outdoors and take advantage of what warm and dry weather we do get, and we buy furniture and accessories to help us, it is good to look after these items well, so they will look and perform to their best for a long time.

Like any other patio or garden furniture, indoor storage for the winter season is the best option.

Depending on whether you fancy yourself as a bit of a chef, or just one who likes the thought of taking full advantage of the summer by eating outdoors once in a while, you may go for a top of the range stainless steel multi level barbeque, or a small mobile unit that does the essentials.

 

Similarly barbeque covers come in the full range of sizes. The cover shown opposite is designed to give protection to a large barbeque on a trolley.

 

There are little covers for the more modest barbeques also. Indeed there has been a move recently by barbeque manufacturers to include a cover with the unit itself. This ensures a good fit, and allows you to avoid making two shopping trips.
